Hello and welcome again to Dorsal Fin Books, the official vehicle for every story, novel and bizarre random thought I have published (thus far).

All of it, whether you're reading from a screen or flicking from page to page with your hands, has been years in the making. Since March 2020 to be exact, a time when many were required to stay at home as the world was gripped by the Covid-19. And since the consumption of books, video games and streaming service content could only provide so much entertainment, I was in dire need of a creative output.

As it happened I’d already had this crazy dream (clichéd I know, but it’s true) about a shark on a train and thought it would make for a great story. Between my fascination with sharks, which ironically began with Jaws, my background in marine biology and my love of classic science fiction novels from the likes of Jules Verne, H.G Wells and Phillip K Dick, I decided it was worth a try.

And now here we are. Shark On A Train: An Oceanic Thriller has become a reality, and from it Dorsal Fin Books has evolved as the platform for a great number of projects, be they published or still in the works. Not all of my stories directly concern themselves with sharks, or the underwater world in which they reside, but they all bear the mark of the force of nature who made all of this possible.
